Meet Nick Clemons

Nick Clemons has 25 years of experience working in government and politics in New England and beyond.  He most recently served as district director in the office of Congressman Joe Kennedy III where he served as the liaison to state, local and tribal governments, business and industry, and organizations and institutions in Massachusetts while focused on issues related to technology, renewable energy and healthcare.  He began his career in New Hampshire in the gubernatorial administration of Jeanne Shaheen, serving as her director of scheduling and as Special assistant for Communications.  

On the campaign side, Nick has run successful efforts from the presidential level to the local.  He oversaw Hillary Clinton’s come from behind victory in the 2008 NH Primary and won primaries in New Jersey, Texas, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and South Dakota.  He won the Granite State’s electoral votes for John Kerry in 2004, making it the only state to flip from red to blue that year.  He also was the field director on Kerry’s winning primary campaign in New Hampshire, and ran the caucuses in Maine, and the Maryland primary.

On the state level he organized and managed Gavin Newsom’s exploratory campaign for governor of California in 2009 and served as the general consultant for Maggie Hassan in her successful first run for governor of New Hampshire in 2012.  Nick managed successful congressional campaigns for Niki Tsongas and Joe Kennedy in Massachusetts.  From 2010 to 2013 Nick ran a public affairs firm in Massachusetts with clients in the defense, health care, and telecommunications industries.

Meet Joe Caiazzo

Joe Caiazzo is a Partner at The JCN Group, a Boston based public affairs firm. He has over a decade of experience in politics. He served in several states in senior positions for Senator Sanders 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns. Joe managed the successful re-election for Senator Sheldon Whitehouse in 2018 and worked as the RI State Director in the 2016 general election for the Clinton campaign. Joe has also worked for Senator Elizabeth Warren and Congressmen Joe Kennedy III and Bill Keating and dozens of other candidate and issue campaigns. In addition to working extensively throughout New England, he has worked in Illinois, Iowa and Florida. He currently serves as a trainer with the National Democratic Training Committee, with a focus on communications and messaging.

Joe is a published author offering analysis on local and federal elections and has offered commentary in various media publications such The New York Times, Politico, Fox News and The Times of London. He is a Political Partner at the Truman National Security Project and a founding member of the organization’s Campaign Advisory Group, which is dedicated to training and advising new candidates. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Barry University Alumni Association and the Massachusetts Oyster Project. Joe is an Eagle Scout and holds a BA in history and theology from Barry University in Miami, Florida and an MPA from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He lives in a suburb of Boston with his two daughters, wife Nicole and pug Ethel.
